Greetings
to you all, from Emiliana, myself and the
Ark Community
Team..!
I'm sure
we all experience time passing by faster than ever before?,
someone told me the other day it's an AGE RELATED phenomena..?
mmm..! October and November were extremely busy but
VERY FRUITFUL
months for us. The downside to being busy and fruitful was the
fact that I spent only 6 days at home in October, please do keep
my Family in your prayer? Ministry is a TEAM (family) effort.
Oct 3rd - MenUnited:
is a Businessmen's meeting that reaches out to non-Christian men
by getting them together for a Breakfast and while they are
eating, tell them Gospel stories by people who have been changed
by the stories of others. We had a FULL-HOUSE and over half the
meeting were Non-Christians.
The Gospel is not
as complicated as some make it out to be..!
Oct 6th-14th -
Italy:
We spent 9 days ministering to various groups of people and
Communities in North and South of Italy, in particular was the
Holy Ghost meeting we ended up having in the Leather Shop when
the Staff of the Shop stopped me and asked me to share the
Gospel and Prayer with everyone in the Shop (publicly). Then
returning to the Shop the next morning, the other Staff members
who weren't there the day before, asked us to prayer with them...
they didn't want
to miss out on God's blessings..! These were NOT Christian
people..!
Oct 20th 26th
- USA: We were in Atlanta (USA), where we met with
our fellow
CEEC Ministers (Bishops), where we we're informed
that two of our Ministers (Priests) in India got
killed for their
Faith,
just a couple of months ago..! On the other hand, we met one of
our Bishops who has an entire outreach and
Church
planting ministry in Pakistan, among the Muslims..!
Nov 11th -
15th - Community Retreat: This year's Winter Retreat
was once again held at our favourite venue; Capri, Italy. Our
Theme was the
'Sermon on the Mount'. Click on the link below for

This
year's Retreat proved to be one of the most successful so far.
We had
guests from England, Italy, Africa and the UK.
Many paradigms were changed and deep friendships were formed.
Orphans:
At the beginning of this year, we set a goal to increase our
Ministry to the Orphans. Our goal was to increase our giving and
we are glad to report to you that
our regular
monthly support we give to the South African Orphans has
increased by
62%..!
Our aim is to keep on increasing this monthly amount
so that we can reach out to more and more Children who need our
help.
Build the Future
- Feeding the Poor (South Africa):
As a Community, we have Partnered with Phillip Shapiro, one of
our Companions, who has a great ministry to the Poor. This year
we have been able to double our monthly support to him, and look
to 2010 to increase this further...! Watch this space Phil..!
Fountains of
Faith - Church planting (Zimbabwe): Another Mission
we have Partnered with is Rev. Anna Hakutangwi, who has planted
Churches in South Africa and Zimbabwe. We have been committed to
supporting Anna
for the last 6 years,
and we were also able to double our support to her this year.
As a
Community we simply desire to
ASSIST THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF GOD's KINGDOM..!
All of the above Ministries and Partnership are possible because
we are merely vessels through which God's blessing is flowing...
even though many speak of the 'crisis', we are doing our best
NOT TO PARTICIPATE
in it.
So we decided instead of 'holding the Fort', we would ATTACK,
and GIVE AWAY and DO MORE than we did in 2008..!
The most
effective way to become a participant in this current global
crisis is to get OUT of the FLOW OF THE Kingdom.
Once we stop
generously sharing with others what God has generously given to
us, we step OUT of the flow of God's system and into the world's
system... CRISIS..!
