the Son
and the Holy Spirit, Amen
Let the beauty of Christ, the Son of God be upon us.
Son of God, establish the work of our hands;
Son of God, bless and profit the labor of our day;
Son of God, you are the reason for this day;
Call: To what labor have you been called?
Response: This is the labor You have called me to:
To love
To listen
To learn
To follow
To serve
Son of God, have mercy on me.
A Psalm of David: Psalm 23
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence
of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All
the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD,
Forever.
Call: Who is it that you seek?
Response: We seek the Lord our God.
Call: Do you seek Him with all your heart?
Response: Amen. Jesus have mercy on me.

Call: Do you seek Him with all your mind?
Response: Amen. Christ have mercy on me.
Call: Do you seek Him with all your strength?
Response: Amen. Holy Trinity, have mercy on me.
Call: In whom do you believe?
Response: In the Lord Jesus Christ,
the only-begotten Son of God.
Begotten of His Father before all worlds.
God of God, Light of Light.
Very God of very God.
Begotten, not made.
Being of one substance with the Father.
By whom all things were made.
Call: Who is your God?
Response: God of all Gods and Light of Light;
Lord of all Lords.
Call: What do you believe?
Response: For us and for our salvation He came down from heaven,
Was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary,
And so was made man.
He was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate.
He suffered and was buried.
On the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures.
He then ascended into heaven,
And now sits on the right hand of the Father.
He shall come again, with glory,
to judge both the quick and the dead.
And of His kingdom their shall be no end.
Son of God, illuminate and guide me.
Christ my shield, overshadow me.
† Son of God over me.
Son of God under me.
At
my left and my right.
Christ within me.
Be in the heart of each to whom I speak;
In the mouth of each who speaks to me.
